Rice Bran Oil Plant
The production and processing of rice bran oil are similar to many other vegetable oils but Rice bran oil may be the largest underutilized agricultural commodity in the world. Despite the potential abundance of rice bran oil in world commerce, it is considered only a minor player in edible oil applications. he oil derived from the bran is often used primarily as soap stock because of the high free fatty acid levels of rice bran that is not stabilized immediately after milling. Rice bran oil is also added to food systems as a means to increase oxidative stability and at the same time to improve the nutritional/health promotion value of the food.
