Hooked ends develop mechanical anchorage during crack opening. Straight micro fibers rely on high fiber count, matrix bond and dispersion in dense cementitious systems.

Read geometry and material properties as a system

LengthControls embedment across a crack and must suit aggregate size, element geometry, pumping and placement.
DiameterInfluences fiber count for a given mass and is used with length to describe aspect ratio.
Aspect ratio (L/d)Fiber length divided by characteristic diameter. It is a comparison variable, not a performance guarantee by itself.
Tensile strengthUseful only with suitable anchorage, bond and concrete response; required values must come from the selected product data.
Anchorage and formatHooks, deformation, loose supply or glued bundles influence pull-out and batching behavior.
Coating / steel gradeBright, galvanized or stainless options require source-specific exposure, grade and documentation review.
